The CULTIVATE “Buddy Bites” video series has officially reached its conclusion, and for our 5th and last double interview the spotlight goes to Anna Demchuk from Nesehnuti, and Johanna Dangel from zusammen leben.
As with all the other FSIs during their visits, this experience of mutual exchange made Anna and Johanna feel as though they had known each other for a long time, contributing in building a safe and open space where both shared their objectives and challenges. “I loved the talks we had, and although we just met each other in Brno for the first time, it opened up an opportunity to talk very intimate about the challenges of our work, which are in a way very similar.” says Johanna, “And this trust which was between us, we really enjoyed that and could learn a lot from each other by sharing our experiences, the good and bad ones.”
One of the most important lesson learned Anna shared “that you can combine a lot of topics during the work and you can engage and support people for doing what they want to do.” she explains. “And you can also combine environmental issues and sustainability with social issues. By one event you can address all of them. ”
