CULTIVATE has released the second video in its “Compass Tool Unpacked” series, focusing on the Menu of Good Governance, a decision-support tool for policymakers and food sharing initiatives.
The tool compiles 217 policy examples and practical solutions from across Europe. Developed by researchers at the University of Barcelona in collaboration with CULTIVATE partners, it supports the design and implementation of policies, projects, and programmes that enable food sharing in different contexts.
The Menu of Good Governance highlights approaches to common regulatory and organisational challenges faced by food sharing initiatives, and it is also structured around key themes including regulations, resources, structural factors, and participation.
The Menu forms part of the Food Sharing Compass, a suite of tools developed within the EU-funded CULTIVATE project to support inclusive, sustainable, and resilient food systems.
Stay tuned for the next videos to discover how the other CULTIVATE Compass tools work!
