Discover “Buddy Bites”: where food sharing meets human connections

On the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste, CULTIVATE announces its new video series on food sharing knowledge exchange through real social interaction

Take two food sharing actors and make them visit each other. Then, ask them what they have learned and record everything. Now mix it all with spontaneity, friendship, and mutual respect. This is “Buddy Bites”, the new CULTIVATE video series which will be launched next week.

Over the past few months, each Food Sharing Initiative (FSI) involved in the project was matched with a “Buddy” based on shared interests and activities. After engaging in a series of webinars to exchange knowledge and best practices, each pair visited one another’s facilities to gain hands-on insights into their buddy’s operations and methods. This video series delves into the inspiring journey of mutual learning, which not only facilitated valuable knowledge exchange but also strengthened human connections among the FSIs.

We’re launching this series on the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste to emphasize the significance of this global issue and showcase possible solutions.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to witness this meaningful exchange! If you haven’t yet, be sure to subscribe to the CULTIVATE YouTube channel and follow our project’s social media profiles to stay updated!
