From food distribution to gender equality in the food system, the CULTIVATE webinar series aims to tackle a variety of topics related to food sharing, the role of FSIs in steering change, and the challenges they encounter in their everyday work.
Led by ICLEI Europe, the webinar series will echo the bottlenecks and successes experienced by all the 11 FSI involved in the project. Every webinar will be recorded and publicly available on the CULTIVATE website and YouTube channel.
“The Why Webinar”, the first in the series will aim to answer the prominent question: why do we save food? From prevention and passing through consumer information, partners will discuss and analyse the failures of global supply chains.
In the very CULTIVATE spirit, we will couple theory with hands-on activities: each FSI will choose its ‘buddy partner’ to visit, host, and learn about its work on the ground. Ultimately, the webinar series will end with a 3-day F2F Accelerator Bootcamp in Lisbon; on this occasion, all the 11 FSI partners will reflect on lessons from webinars and site visits and discuss their priorities, challenges, and objectives.
